I do what I do because I have to.  It is a matter of survival.  My creative energy can be overwhelming and is often triggered by everyday life (health, love, injustice, spirituality).  I use songwriting to express the passion of living and I teach my students to do the same.  When on the computer, I play with my songs and digital photography and post them on youtube. When in the studio, any instrument becomes a magical arrow in my hands as the energy moves from my heart to my brain to my fingertips.
